Kevin Huber Cincinnati Bengals Kicking Punting Camp

In 2009, the Cincinnati Bengals chose Kevin Huber in the fifth round of the NFL draft, making him the first Punter selected, and the first Punter drafted by the Bengals since 1987. He is also the second player in Bengals’ history to have grown-up and played both high school and college football in the ‘Queen City’ before playing for the Bengals.

Huber attended McNicholas High School and was a three-time All-League selection and Greater Catholic League Player of the Year as both a junior and senior.  While at the University of Cincinnati, Huber was the first Bearcat player to win a national punting title.  Huber averaged 45.5 gross yards on 124 career punts with 49 punts going for 50 yards or more.

In his first year with the Bengals, Huber got off to a fast start.  The first five punts of his career all ended up inside the twenty yard line, ranking second in franchise history for a single game.  Huber finished the 2009 season with 24 punts inside the 20 yard line.
